How long does a PCI inspection take?

A typical PCI inspection takes between 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the size of the home. We document everything thoroughly — we never rush through an inspection.

Does my builder have to fix everything in the report?

If defects are found before you sign off at practical completion, your builder is legally required to fix items that don’t meet the building contract or Australian Standards. Our report documents everything clearly with photos, giving you strong grounds to require rectification before final payment.

What happens if major defects are found?

Everything is fully documented with photos and descriptions. Our report clearly separates major structural or waterproofing defects from minor cosmetic items. We also call you personally to walk through the key findings. You then present the report to your builder before signing off.
